Pandora is a free music service that helps you listen to and discover new music.

I need to remeber to search vodpod.com to add this in my accounts video collection.

I'm beginning to think I prefer female vocals....not a bad thing I guess. However, Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode is awesome. His voice does help make the sound to the band, and of course the music that is arranged by Alan Wilder...back in the day.

Nice melody with some subtle beats. Vocals are excellent. I haven't explored the lyrics yet but they appear to be solid.

Wyandotte is a Core Community

Wyandotte is a core community for the troubled Michigan Film Incentive program. Not too many other Downriver cities are listed. I think it's a joke if the state drops these incentives. I believe a lot of people have mis-understandings about how the program works and what it actualy costs. Of course it wouldn't be politics if facts weren't twisted to confuse everyone. How much longer are we going to allow the big 3 control the economic status of Michigan? We either eat filet mignon or hamburger helper. It all depends if anyone is buying new cars or not. Stacy and I have seen some of the programs in action first hand. We have heard the uplifting stories of the work that has been created. We have seen the active movie sets and the busy local business that surround them. I believe the incentive works and Michiganders need the fresh breath of life right now, not more heart ache. Our company is just small potatoes but we keep our vendors right here in the state. So do these movies, they bring money to spend and the incentives are for dollars only spent in Michigan! Hey, I almost got a roll doubling as George Clooney! Except I was a bit too tall. lol. But the experience was exciting and I met a lot of great people and.....and we were able to promote our services to the big guy. Thanks goes to my wifes sister Lisa.

LTB - Lions, Tigers & Beers Oh My!

Stacy sister is in from out of town filming another movie here in Detroit. So last night we all went to LTB's in downtown Wyandotte which was cool because at the same time we were able to meet up with some clients. Wyandotte is a great town. It's filled with great down to earth people and the downtown businesses stick together. FYI- The city is offering small business incentives and grants to relocate here! I thinks it's a great idea and I give the local government a lot of credit for knowing how to access the available federal programs.

Wyandotte is so much better than a city such as Allen Park which couldn't hang onto the movie studio deal that wanted to come in. What a boost this could have been for Downriver, but it won't be because the Allen Park officials blew it. Too bad. I also heard that the city lost it's fire department. Wow. Perhaps Melvindale should anex the sections north of Southfield Rd away from the city if they can't do things right themselves.

Southgate has always had a good mixture of businesses, small and large. The city is neatly assembled properly blending big box stores, corporations and small business together. It seems all the major chains end up in Southgate and it must be for good reason.

In my opinion Southgate and Wyandotte are great assests to the Downriver community. And lets not forget the Wyandotte Street Art Fair, one of the biggest in the state. It can almost be compared to Ann Arbors.

Also before I forget, Go Bears! And congrats on the State Hockey Championship. Another boost to local area. What great kids. I love this town.

A favorite from Depeche Mode

Saw this concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills in 1993 with my then wife Kim and a couple of friends. We had great seats for both nights. Kim and I traveled to Battle Creek and slept in the car to get tickets right when it opened. We thought that if we traveled far enough, there wouldn't be anyone interested in this concert and we would be the only ones in line. We were wrong.
